To All the Boys- P.S. I Still Love You

Can there be anything more embarrassing than that all the secret love letters that you have written suddenly come to light? That is exactly what happened to the shy 16-year-old Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor). She was in love five times, five times she did not dare to speak to her crush. Instead, she secretly wrote love letters and hid them in a box. And one day the letters were gone, sent to the real addressee. A real disaster – with surprising consequences.
Because at the end of the first part, Lara Jean met sweet Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo). She would never have thought that possible before. So far, however, not all of the addressees of the love letters have reported back. The chaos is correspondingly great when Lara receives a letter from John Ambrose McClaren (Jordan Fisher). Suddenly Lara finds herself in a complicated love triangle, into which Peter’s ex Genevieve (Emilija Baranac) finally bursts.
Based on the novels by Jenny Han, the romantic comedy “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” triggered a real hype on Netflix. The film by director Susan Johnson (“The Dolphin Whisperer”) was one of the big surprise hits of the streaming portal. The reason for this was certainly not only the popular bestseller by Jenny Han, but also the skilful cast of the main roles with Lana Condor (“Alita: Battle Angel”) and Noah Centineo (“Sierra Burgess Is A Loser”).
After the great success, Netflix announced a continuation very quickly. After all, Jenny Han wrote the novels “P.S. I Still Love You ”and“ Always and Forever, Lara Jean ”. provided enough material to continue the story of the lovable Lara Jean. And the mid-credit scene of the first part already gave a foretaste of the entanglements with John Ambrose McClaren.
