It does not work well for the policeman Vincent (Jamie Foxx). Together with his colleague Sean (T.I.), he does not take it very precisely with the law, which calls his sincere colleague Jennifer Bryant (Michelle Monaghan), who increasingly doubts the integrity of the cops. It is actually Vincent’s corrupt partner Sean, who keeps the family’s father repeatedly into illegal machinations. One day the two policemen sprawled the bow hugely and entangled themselves in a drug deal, which they are not up to.
A bet in a casino is completely out of control and Vincent loses a considerable amount of cocaine, which he has just now underlined, in the zeal of the fight. Stupid only that the drugs were destined for the casino boss Stan Rubino (Dermot Mulroney) and the unscrupulous gangster in such affairs no fun. Shortly, he has kidnapped the son of Vincent (Octavius J. Johnson). The policeman is forced to look for the lost goods and slips deeper and deeper into the criminal milieu. He falls between the fronts of rival clans and has to think of a plan to free his son. The fact that it is now determined against him makes the whole matter only more complicated.
