Strizh Manu grows up in a family of seagulls in full confidence that he is one of them. He struggles to learn how to swim, catch fish and fly just like they do. But during the traditional summer competition, he realizes that he can never become a seagull. The annoyed Manu flies out of the house, where he meets new friends. Because of this, his relations with his native flock deteriorate. But then the case interferes. Manu, who grew up brave as a seagull and resourceful as a swift, manages to save both gulls and swifts from the oncoming danger and become a hero in the eyes of both.
