In 2015 “Steven Spielberg” reboots with the “Jurassic World” reboot of the Dino film series. In 1993, the Tyrannosaurus Rex and his usually equally furious and clever fellow-species stepped up their triumph on the cinema. In “Jurassic Park”, after the novel by Michael Crichton and his two sequels “The Lost World” and “Jurassic Park III”, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern fought with the consequences of failed scientific researches to play God. By means of DNA sequencing they wanted to bring the extinct rulers of the earth back to life a million years ago. It went wrong, which had to go wrong. Hanging was the sentence from part one: “Life finds its way.” The evolution is just not calculable.
This principle also followed “Jurassic World” with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the main roles. This time, the heroes in the amusement park, which was simply placed next to the old one on the fictitious Isla Nublar, got to do with the Superdino Indominus Rex, a very vicious creation from the genetic kit. “Jurassic World” followed the principle of the first three films. People suddenly find themselves in an unexpected, life-threatening situation from which they must escape. It remains exciting whether the second part of the reboots can free itself from this logic to give the franchise new impetus.
So far, only sparse information about the plot of the film starting in June 2018 is known. Even the first photos of the set have barely betrayed a detail on the action of the Dino blockbuster. What is certain, however, is that, in addition to Chris Pratt, especially Jeff Goldblum, after a long absence in the franchise in “Jurassic World 2”, re-entered the role of Dr. Ian Malcolm will slip. And the fact that the continuation will be more strongly based on the novel by Michael Crichton, producer Colin Trevorrow explained in an interview.
