Countdown

Quinn Harris (Elisabeth Lail) is a newly registered nurse and is dealing with a strange case at the beginning of her professional career: A patient reports on an app that predicts the time of death and runs a countdown. So his girlfriend had already died and for him the clock runs exactly until his upcoming operation – which he then cancels.
Quinn and her colleagues also install the app, but while the rest of the workforce has many years to live, Quinn only has a few days left. She then changes her plans too, but with the “breach of the terms of use” the mobile software cannot be brushed off and a dark figure clings to her heels. Together with Matt (Jordan Calloway), who also doesn’t have long to live, she gets to the bottom of the matter. Can you outsmart the app with a priest and a savvy cellphone seller?
Justin Dec has been in the film business for a while and has worked on major productions such as “Up in the Air” and “Suddenly Family”. As director and author of the supernatural horror film “Countdown”, he is now making his feature film debut.
In supporting roles we see Elisabeth Lail, who might already be known to viewers from the Netflix series “You – You will love me”, also “Black Lightning” actor Jordan Calloway, Talitha Bateman (“Love, Simon”) and Peter Facinelli, who became more famous especially with the role of the vampire head of the family in “Twilight”.
